Operator detail
v1 has no live provider probe: imagery availability is verified at packaging time, when the pipeline resolves each order against its source, rather than by a live probe.
Imagery (NAIP in the US, Sentinel-2 elsewhere, both via Microsoft Planetary Computer) and continental US elevation (USGS 3DEP) are the live-source v1 legs; Protomaps and Mapterhorn are R2-mirrored and served from the sovereign basemap.
Flood zones, parcels and zoning are fetched from their public sources when an order is built. Each source is probed hourly with a small map query. A source that fails a whole probe goes on the repair list and is left out of new orders until it answers again; an operator can also switch one off. No order ever fails on a source.
